7th CPC Pay Fixation Tables: Pay Fixed on the Date of Promotion or Date of Next Increment
Pay Fixation on Promotion or MACP as per FR22(I)(a)(1) after 7th Pay Commission is regulated by the Rule13 of CCS(RP) Rules, 2016. This Rule regulates the Pay Fixation on Promotion or MACP to all Central Government Employees to permit to fix their pay on the date of promotion itself and also opts to pay fixation from the Date of Next Increment (DNI).
Pay Fixation on Promotion Date: A Government servant is promoted, will first be given one increment in the current level. Then he will be placed, equal to or next higher matrix pay in the promoted level.
Pay Fixation on Increment Date: A Government servant may allowed to fix his pay from the Date of his Next Increment (either 1st July or 1st January) as per recommendations of 7th Pay Commission. A Government servant is promoted, then, from the date of promotion till his Increment Date (either 1st July or 1st January), he shall be placed at the next higher cell in the promoted level. And then, on Increment Date his pay will be re-fixed and 2 increments (One Annual Increment and another Promotional Increment) will be granted in the same level, and he will be placed at the next higher cell in the promoted level.

Sir, if any officer’s had joined the department Level 4 & as per the Recruitment Rules officers is eligible for promotion (Level 6) after completion of 10 year regular service then what department will give promotion or Financial upgradation MACP. and how will fixed the FUG MACP. Officer joint on 07.01.2014 ( Grade Pay 4 Now Level 4 : 31400) Regular Promotion : 10 year Service Then what is the Financial upgradation MACP Level & Table = ?
You may note that from the 6th CPC there is no pay scales for the post/designation as basic pay plus grade pay changes next from the ensuing month of July only (up to 2015) and in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix stage pay changes next Matrix Level stage equal pay or higher.
As per the Joined date in between promotion 7-1-2014 to 6-1-2024 or 1st MACP with the optional increment July, from in that basic pay stage of 2 increments in the same Matrix Level 4 and DNI on 1-7-2025 stage of basic pay equal or higher in Matrix Level 5 with the condition of very good bench marks in 3 APAR. Wait for the pay fixation may get promotion time (up to 6-1-24) or on completion of 10 year.
I promoted from level 1 to level 4 on dated 30.12.2021 and increment date is 01 July.
On which option is beneficial , date of promotion or DNI.
Give January increment option so you will get earlier one increment on 1-1-22 & DNI on 1-1-23 onwards.
I promoted to level 4 (31400) to level 6(35400) on 08 Jan 2022.
My increment date before promotion was 01 July .
Now am I eligible to get increment in 01 July 2022 or not?
You have to give opinion increment from January. You will get increment 1-7-22 in MATRIX LEVEL 4 & January increment also get MATRIX LEVEL 4 & DNI on 1-1-23 in MATRIX LEVEL 5 only not 6.
I got a promotion on 11/ o1/2018 from level 4 to 5 at this time my basic pay was 27100 . After promotion ( 11/ 01/2018 ) what is my basic and after July 2018 increments what is my basic pay and after july 2019 what is my basic pay
macp granted to me on 7.8.2016 pay level 4 to 5 grade pay 2800/ and on 25.6.2019 I have promoted pay level 5 to 6 gradepay 4200/ ( on 25.6.2019 my basic was 39200/ what basic pay to be given to me by the department.
Mention your MACP is 1/2/3? If it’s 1st or 2nd MACP with 2 increments from 1-7-2019 as 42400 & 1-7-2020 as 43,600 in MATRIX LEVEL 6 (GP 4200). If it’s 3rd MACP, no pay fixation in service.
