TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment Age Limit 2024
Candidates from diverse groups like Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars) (SC(A)s), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities (MBC&DNCs), Backward Classes (BCs), and Backward Class Muslims (BCMs) (including Ex-Servicemen from these communities) are required to be 59 years old by 01.07.2024. Individuals classified under the “Others” category should attain the age of 37 by 01.07.2024, with differently-abled persons within this group expected to be 47 years old by the same date. Ex-Servicemen falling under the “Others” classification should not surpass the age of 50 by 01.07.2024.
TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Educational Qualification 2024
Candidates seeking the role of Assistant Surgeon (General) must hold a qualification equivalent to one granted by a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and endorsed by the Medical Council of India. To qualify for this position, applicants must have completed an MBBS Degree and meet the following criteria:
- Being a registered practitioner in accordance with the Madras Medical Registration Act of 1914.
- Having completed a minimum of twelve months as a House Surgeon (CRRI).
- Ensuring their name is listed in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council prior to the stipulated deadline mentioned in this Notification (15.05.2024).
In cases where a candidate claims that their academic credentials are equivalent, though not identical, to the stated qualifications, the responsibility of substantiating this claim rests with the candidate.
TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment Exam Fee 2024
Applicants falling under the SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH) category need to remit an examination fee of Rs. 500 for the TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment assessment, while candidates from other categories are expected to pay Rs. 1000. Please bear in mind that once an online application is successfully submitted and acknowledged, it cannot be revoked, and the registration fee remains non-refundable and unchangeable irrespective of the situation.
TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Exam Hall Ticket 2024
Eligible candidates can access their Hall Tickets from the Board’s official website at www.mrb.tn.gov.in for download. Kindly note that Hall Tickets will not be dispatched via postal mail. As soon as the Hall ticket is ready for download, candidates will receive a notification through email or SMS on their registered email ID or mobile number. It is imperative for applicants to ensure they meet all the examination eligibility criteria. Meeting these eligibility requirements is essential for being granted permission to sit for the exam. Merely obtaining a Hall ticket does not automatically indicate full acceptance of the candidate’s application by the Board.
