Postal Employees Pay Scales
The salary scale structure (Revised Pay Scale w.e.f. 1.1.2006) for the employees and officers working in Post Offices or Postal Organizations under the Department of Posts. All the employees and officers working in the Department of Post under the Ministry of Communications are coming under the wing of Central Government Employees.The 7th Pay Commission pay scale was implemented to these employees and officers with effect from 1st January 2016. The new Pay Matrix Table has been introduced by the 7th Pay Commission for all groups of Central Govt employees including the Department of Postal.
