NSE Market Timings 2024
Equity trading takes place daily, excluding weekends and designated holidays. The trading timetable is organized as follows:
A) Pre-open session
Order entry and modifications are available from 09:00 to 09:08, concluding with a one-minute random pause before the pre-open order matching begins.
B) Regular trading session
Normal trading starts at 09:15 and continues until 15:30.
C) Closing Session
The Closing Session runs from 15:40 to 16:00.
D) Block Deal Session Timings:
Morning Window: From 08:45 to 09:00.
Afternoon Window: From 14:05 to 14:20.
It’s important to remember that the Exchange may alter trading hours or close the market on unscheduled holidays at its discretion.
