National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Admission 2020 – Date Registration Fees Status Result
NIOS is entirely different from all other academic institutions. NIOS gives freedom in three ways… what to learn, how to learn, and when to learn. The learner has the option to choose subjects of his/her choice from the given list keeping in view the passing criteria.
What is an Open School?
Open Schools are a system of schooling which has no boundary for age and free from regular school attendance. People who were not able to complete their schooling due to various reasons can finish their schooling through Open Schools even after several years. The biggest advantage of open schools is no fixed schedule. Learners can write their whenever they are ready, they can even study 1 year program for several years. There is no necessity to attend classes as well.
NIOS Admission Date 2020
Admission for Stream – 1 (Block 1) is open till September 15, 2020. If you are registering now, you have to pay a late fee of Rs. 700.
Date of Admission for Stream – 1 (Block 2) starts on 16th September 2020.
NIOS Admission Eligibility criteria
Secondary Course – The minimum age is 14 years for the 10th Standard equivalent Secondary Course (Should be born on or before 31 August 2005).
