Modi may announce OROP implementation at Mathura rally
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to announce implementation of the one rank one pension (OROP) scheme concerning ex-servicemen at his rally in Mathura on Monday to mark one year of his government.
Defence ministry sources on Sunday said modalities relating to the long-pending demand of ex-servicemen have been thrashed out.
They said the prime minister could make an announcement about OROP at the rally in Mathura to mark one year of the National Democratic Alliance government.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had said on Friday that the OROP concept was “an unambiguous commitment” of the government and it will be implemented.

SUB: REVISION OF PENSION FOR THE LAST RANK HELD EX 680340 JWO DAWOOD SHAIKH AHMED
Sir,
I was Paid the JWO Arrears from 01 Jan 2006 to 30 June 2009 only . From 01 July 2009 to till date I am being Paid sergeant pension only as PDA is refusing to pay for the Last Rank Held of JWO. PDA want a Detailed letter JCDA, Subroto park, New Delhi.
Moreover reference to the Circular number 566 dated 16 September 2016 Revision of Pension under one Rank One pension states that the Rank of Fly Sergeant is equivalent to JWO of the Air Force hence pension of the Fly Sergeant shall be revised to JWO
i was enrolled in the Indian Air Force on 19 May 1982 and Discharged from the Indian Air Force on 31 may 2002 after 20 years of qualifying service. i was promoted to the Rank of JWO on 01 Dec 2001 and held the rank for 6 months .then why i am not paid for the JWO rank where as a Flight Sergeant who did not hold the rank at all is being being paid the JWO pension.
As per one circular number 551 i was paid for the JWO rank from 01 Jan 2006 to June 2009 only and the other circular says not to pay for the last rank held. Why this indifference to JWO of Indian Air Force

Respected Sir I am a defense employee working in an environment which would be very strange for my brothers and sisters working in govt job in civil. By saying so i am not saying that they are not doing there duties, but i mean to say that i am living 2800 kms away from my parents both of them are 55+ i am not able to see them for 4-6 months. I know it is my duty to do so but what about my duty towards my parents. An solder is not worried about his life but what about his parents and family. Nobody in this world could return his youth and the prime time which he had scarified for his country but at least by providing finical up gradation in this pay commission u can help him out in the way that he is not in crunch financially at least to fulfill his duty towards his family.
