WHAT ABOUT GRATUITY PAYMENT IN LIEW OF CHANGE OF RETIREMENT AGES WHATEVER IT MAY BE.
There are some drastic changes are to be required as a matter of offer to the service personals like change in Gratuity procedure from old ratio to new ratio –
Old ratio : 15 days salary for one year of service and limited to maximum 20 salary ( Basic + DA ), along with income tax relief up to Rs. 10,00,000/-
THE RATIO LIKELY BE CHANGED SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN RETIREMENT AGE FROM 58 TO 62 OR ABOVE :-
New ratio : 15 days salary for one year of service and limited to maximum 25 salary ( Basic + DA ), along with income tax relief minimum up to Rs. 20,00,000/-
It is to be aware that allover India corers of service personals who come under middle class employees. And our Govt. has thinked for upper age of 62 yrs. Service, in place of exsiting 60 Yrs. Which was earlier 55 and 58 yrs. So why Gratuity slab could not be revised as suggested above.
