What is Para Military Service Pay?

Para Military Service Pay (PMSP) given for Central Armed Police Force personnel.

Requisition of Rate of Para Military Service Pay

As informed by Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles (AR), the detail of strength of CAPFs and AR is as under:

A proposal for grant of Para Military Service Pay (PMSP) to Central Armed Police Force personnel at par with Army personnel has been referred to the 7th Central Pay Commission vide MHA O.M. dated 05.11.2014.

The rate of Para Military Service Pay requested is @ Rs. 2,000/- per month to Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBOR) and Rs.6,000/- per month to officers upto Dy. Inspector General of Police rank, based on the rates of Military Service Pay.

State Armed Police Forces are under the administrative control of State Governments. As such, present proposal does not include State Armed Police Forces.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in a written reply to Shri A.U. Singh Deo in the Rajya Sabha today.

    Sir it will be very poor show of the pay commission team if pmsp is not sanctioned to cpmf employee. Narendra modi Ji please check the matter and increase the pay and allowances of cpmf employee as per army personnel. Sir para military employee is also comes in human category… Plz hand over the command of assam rifles either under the home ministry or defence ministry…. This elite force is continuously operating in CI ops since 1835,…..plz move it all India ……thanking for anticipation……. Puneet Awasthi

    Govt always neglect Paramilitary’s which we fought the hardest duty in the country whether in inter and external duty from local duty and upto first front line..This time we are expecting special package like msp which Army gets.an Home minister has also given assurance many times too look this matter but there is nothing improved in CAPF.. if govt not sanction of force allowance all capf personnel are arms down strike in naxal area and border line of control.

    sir , ASSAM RIFLES is deployed in the north east since last 180 years and serving the country against external agression, be it counter insurgency and internal disturbances in the NE states and the indo sino, indo myanmar borders . during these past years men iof AR has contributed a lot for winnng the wars, and lost lot of lives of soldiers in these years .it is preimier regt of the indian armed forces functiong shoulder to shoulder with any regt of the army.of the indian union it has sent to Srilanka part of IPKF, and to J&K during 1990 to 1995. but it is paining it has not kept in the purview of MSP , which was granted to Coast Guard a young force raised under mHA in 1977 with *)percen t of MSP see page no 505 of pay commision report .tps are very much astonished of this.

    sir I m telling about assam rifles pay and allowances there is no including in army pay and allowances and also no including in capf where is pay scale of assam rifles He is working as well as army duty and always deployed in highly counter insurgency area please two weeks ago the all capf dgs meet with shree narendra modi ji honorable pm but assam rifles dgs will not attend in this meeting why
