OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Grant of entry pay to ASOs of CSS promoted on or after 01.01.2006 — Reg.
The undersigned is directed forward herewith a copy of Department of Expenditure’s OM No.8-23/2017-E.III A dated 28.9.2018 for information and compliance to all cadre units of CSS in respect of Assistant Section Officers of CSS cadre, who got promoted on or after 1.1.2006 and whose pay, as fixed under Rule 13 of CCS (RP) Rules, 2008 happened to be lower than the entry pay of direct recruit Assistant Section Officers appointed on or after 1.1 2006.

Whether a Stenographer promoted to the post of PA / Gr.II Stenographer in 1998 is entitled to get his pay fixed at Rs.13860 + 4600 = Rs.18460/- as on 01.01.2006.?
Reason for asking above question is that GNCTD had granted the above pay, but is recovering the pay at the time of retirement from retirement dues by reducing pay and pension. Pl. Clarify. I will be grateful
It will be decided by your appointment and retirement of pay scales and got the upgradations of basic pay fixation in service in service. From the 6th CPC pay scales are given as Grade Pay.
Sir I got promotion of ASO in February 2011 and there is no quota for direct recruitment in our cadre. So am I eligible for 13860 or 12540?
