FAQ on 7th CPC Increment: Questions and Answers on Date of Next Increment

1.Question: Sir I was out of station due to casualty on my family from 30.06.2019 to 02.07.2019. So I could not join on 1st July 2019. Is I can avail CL on that period. Because my increment not falling 1st July. What is the solution? What Is my next increment?
Reply: You are not supposed to deny your annual increment, as per the FR SR Rule, if a Government employee is on leave on the 1st July, the increased pay will be drawn only from the date on which he resume duty and not from the first of July. That’s all. You are eligible for annual increment from 3rd July, 2019.
2.Question: Sir i relieved from old duty station wef 28.06.19 and joined the new duty station on 29.06.19 without availing journey period,. I have an urgent work on 01.07.19. Now the question is that if i take cl for 01 July, am i able to get increment on 01 July or from 02nd July
Reply: If you are on C.L. on 1/7/19 your increment will be given from 1/7/19.
3.Question: I am going out of station on 28.6.2019 for 15 days to attend marriage function. I will come on 10.7.2019. Is it compulsory to present on 1.7.2019 for increment. I will b in loss every month if i will not present on 1.7.2019
Reply: If you are not on 1/7/19 increment day after joining date (10/7/19) you will get increment on that month as a pro-rate of increment, next month you will get full increment.
4.Question: I have got promotion on 1st Feb 2019 but the promotion Increment will be given from 1st july 2019 is it right , or they should have given me promotion Increment on 1st Feb 2019
Reply: Is it Promotion as MACP you should give option, otherwise it is correct.
5.Question: You are eligible for increment as 1 & 2 of Jan. was weekly off & 1st working day of the year happens to be 3rd Jan. You may write to administrative ministry & take help.

6.Question: My Appointment date 03/01/2011 1st and 2nd jan weekly off being sat & sun was not given Increment on 01/07/2011
Can I eligible to get Increment on 01/07/2011 as per govt letter 13/03/2009 joined 1st working day of the year for Increment
Reply: No, only annual increment on 1/7/12 on completion of 12 months after JULY ONLY.
