DA and DR from Jan 2018 – No chance to increase above 2%

For the calculation of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief for Central Government Employees and Pensioners from January 2018, we need AICPIN for 6 months from July to Dec 2017. At present, we have only 3 months data from July to September 2017. Even after publishing the remaining index for Oct to Dec 2017 the Expected DA will be 2% only (2% + 5% = 7%).
