Canteen Stores Department (CSD) selling a lot of products on tax less price for Armed Forces Personnel in India.
CSD is one of the biggest consumer product sellers in India, particularly to Defence Forces Personnel and their family members. CSD has 40 Depots (store) and thousands of Unit Run Canteens (URC) in India.
CSD has divided the selling items into 7 groups for their entitled customers to purchase easily.
CSD selling items are categorised in several groups for easy understanding purpose only. From Group 1 to 6 items are selling through URC Canteens located in various major cities in India.
Group 7 is AFD (Against Firm Demand) items. Car, Scooter, Bike, AC, Fridge and Washing machines ect., are purchase through AFD format.
Group-1: Toiletries (Soap, Paste, Oil, Face Powder, Cleaning Agents, Perfumes etc.,)
Group-2: Household Requisites (Gas Stove, Fan, Geyser, Grider, Room Heater, Induction Cookers, Sewing Machine etc.,)
Group-3: General Use Items (Plastic Items, Brief Case, Hand Bags, Bedsheet, Socks, Umbrella, Helmet, Padlocks etc.,)
Group-4: Watches and Stationery (Wall Clock, Wrist Watch, Note Books, Pencils, Photo Albums, Stationery etc,.)
Group-5: Liquor (Brandy, Canned Beer, Champagne, Gin, Vodkas, Whisky, Rum, Scotch Whisky, Wines etc.,)
Group-6: Food & Medicinal Items (Biscuits, Breakfast Cereals, Chocolate, Coffee, Confectionery, Dry Fruits, Tea Bags, Snacks etc.,)
