The National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) and Affiliates are shocked to learn of the sad demise of eminent leader Umraomal Purohit, President, AIRF.
He has rendered yeoman services to the working class on Indian Railways as well as the country for 6 decades. In his death, the working class movement suffers a serious setback.
As a Secretary of Staff Side in JCM late Umraomal Purohit has rendered significant services to 36 lakhs Central Government Employees for more than 3 decades.
General Secretary, National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR), affiliates and all the cadre deeply condole his death. May his noble soul rest in everlasting peace.
