Gazetted Holidays List 2025
The Central Government Office’s Gazetted Holidays for the year 2025 have been officially announced. Gazetted Holidays are the designated days off for employees working in central government offices and industrial establishments. Every June, the Central Government unveils a detailed holiday calendar for the upcoming year.
This calendar is circulated via an official memorandum from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), delineating Gazetted Holidays and Restricted Holidays separately. The primary list includes 14 mandatory holidays, while the supplementary list permits individuals to choose three holidays from the compulsory ones, resulting in a total of 17 days of leave.
