Subject: Pending payment of encashment of EL / HPL in respect of retirees under BSNL VRS-2019.
Sir,
BSNL Corporate office has issued several instructions regarding payment of leave encashment in respect of retirees under BSNL VRS-2019. The payment of leave encashment was required to be completed latest by 14.08.2020, which was further extended up to 05.09.2020. However, it has been reported by ERP Core team that still 481 cases are pending for payment of leave encashment. Out of these pending cases, vigilance clearance is withheld in 126 cases. For processing leave encashment in respect of cases where vigilance clearance has been withheld, a detailed instruction has been issued vide this office letter of even number dated 06.05.2020. A circle wise summary along with complete list of retirees who have not been paid leave encashment is enclosed for reference.
2. Despite clear instructions and time lines, the payment of leave encashment has not been completed. in view of above, the circles are required to —
(i) Process the payment of pending case of leave encashment immediately as per rules/instructions.
(ii) Submit report / justification in each case for non-payment of leave encashment latest by 19.10.2020 on email: patbsnico@gmail.com .
