Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is one of the biggest telecommunication service provider company in India. BSNL is an Indian State-owned organization with more than 1.7 lakh employees and about 12 crore subscribers. We provided here a table of holidays for BSNL offices in India during the year 2020.
As per the Central Govt guidelines, 14 days are declared as compulsory holidays including three National holidays (Republic Day, Independence Day and Mahatma Gandhi’s Birthday). In some of the BSNL regions such as Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and NER, due to the importance of local festivals, the holiday list slightly varies the New Delhi list. Particularly, the three restricted holidays (Effective Holidays) will be decided by the CGWCC (Central Government Welfare Co-ordination Committee) in the respective State.

BSNL office working days and timings
BSNL offices in India remain closed on Sundays and Public holidays. And the working hours of the administrative offices are from 9 am to 5.30 pm including the lunch break from 1 pm to 1.30 pm. The customer care service will be available every day. In some of particular region, the post offices are working in night hours. The transaction hours of night post offices is from 4 pm to 8 pm.
