All branches of Axis Bank in India will remain closed on Republic Day in January, Holi and Ram Navami in March, Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, and Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti in April, Maharashtra Day in May, Bakri Id in June, and Independence Day in August. In September 2024, Ganesh Chaturthi will be observed, while Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra will be celebrated in October 2024. In November 2024, Diwali, Balipratipada, and Gurunanak Jayanti will be observed, followed by Christmas in December 2024.

Trading Holidays and Timings

Trading on the equities segment takes place on all days of the week except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays declared by the Exchange in advance. The pre-open session order entry and modification opens at 09:00 hrs and closes at 09:08 hrs*, with random closure in the last one minute. Pre-open order matching commences immediately after the close of pre-open order entry. The regular trading session for Normal/Limited Physical Market opens at 09:15 hrs and closes at 15:30 hrs. The block deal session is held between 09:15 hrs and 09:50 hrs.
