Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:

• Whether there is any proposal with Government to increase the retirement age of Central Government employees; and
• If so, the details thereof?

ANSWER
Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Dr. Jitendra Singh)

• There is no proposal under consideration of the Government to increase the retirement age of Central Government employees.
