Expected Central DA from January 2020 for CG Employees

4% DA Increase from January 2020

The final calculation of additional expected Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government Employees, Railway staff and Armed Forces Personnel with effect from January 2020 is almost finalized after issuing of AICPIN for the month of December 2019.

The additional Dearness Allowance for the period from January to July 2020 is hike by 4%.

4% DA from Jan 2020

The percentage of the first installment of additional DA (Dearness Allowance) and DR (Dearness Relief) for Central Government employees, pensioners, family pensioners and ex-servicemen effective from 1.1.2020 are very possible to hike by 4%. However, the Union Cabinet Committee will have to approve the hike in DA.
