Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) 7th Pay Commission Latest News Today
After the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations to Central Government employees working in Post offices (Department of Posts), the mass workforce of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) also demanded to revise pay and allowances at par with CG employees.

The demands have accepted and Union Cabinet Committee has approved on 6.6.2018 to revise the wage structure and allowances of GDS of the Department of Posts with effect from 1.1.2016.

2. If the Branch Postmaster is performing delivery at the BO village only, it will be restricted to Rs. 250 P.M.
3. BPM exchanging Mails at Bus stand or at Railway Stations will be compensated at the rate of Rs. 250 P.M. |

GDS MD/MC attached with the additional duty of another post, revised rate of allowance will be at the rate of Rs. 25 per day subject to a Maximum of Rs. 625 P.M. |
