7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Level 1 Salary Slab with 17% DA Table and 3 Months Arrears – Updated October 2019

The Union Cabinet Committee yesterday decided to grant an additional 5% Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees and pensioners with effect from 1st July 2019. After approval, the DA goes up to 17%. The payment DA arrears for three months may be issued by next week!

Increasing in DA is an impact on the total salary of Central Government employees in two ways. The first impact will be increased directly in Dearness Allowance from 12% to 17% of basic pay. And another impact will be in the Transport Allowance.
