Dopt Orders on All Allowances
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued a comprehensive set of orders concerning all allowances, including but not limited to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance. These orders are designed to provide clarity and ensure consistency across all government departments and organizations. The DoPT has taken into consideration the recommendations of various committees set up to review the allowances and has made changes that will benefit the employees while minimizing the burden on the government. The orders address issues such as the eligibility criteria for receiving certain allowances, the permissible rate of the allowance, and the method of calculation for various allowances. The DoPT has also emphasized the need for prompt and efficient implementation of these orders by all concerned authorities.
Dopt Orders on All Allowances Including 7th CPC Allowances
Number of allowances are granting to Central Government employees. All employees are not eligible for all allowances. According to their post, grade and nature of work only entitlement for allowances. Generally all employees are eligible for Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance.
