What is the difference between CGHS and CS(MA) Rules?

Generally, the demarcation is dividing the beneficiaries into two segments CGHS beneficiaries and CS (MA) beneficiaries. In another term, we can say, all serving CG employees are under CGHS and all CG pensioners, and family pensioners are covered under CS (MA) Rules.

As per the OM dated 6.4.2018, the coverage of CGHS shall be limited to the areas within 5 kilometres (approximately) radius of the CGHS Wellness Centres in all CGHS-covered Cities. where such demarcations were not specified.
