Bonus for GDS – Recommendations of GDS Committee Report 2016
The committee recommends the followings on payment of EX-gratia bonus to GDSs
The Department should enhance the ceiling for calculation of ex-gratia bonus to Gramin Dek Sevaks at par with Departmental Employees, as per the communications received form Ministry of Finance from time to time.
The Department should re-examine the formula for payment of bonus and ex-gratia bonus with reference to the share of revenue generated by the departmental as well as GDS Post Offices.
The Department should issue orders for payment of bonus and ex-gratia bonus simultaneously every year.
