3% Additional DA for Rajasthan Govt Employees from Jan 2022
Following the announcement made by the Central Government, the Rajasthan State Government also declared to hike DA by 3 percent from the existing DA rate of 31% with effect from 1st January 2022.

The State Government of Rajasthan decided to grant 5% additional Dearness Allowance for its employees and pensioners from 1st July 2019.
The Department of Finance of Rajasthan issued orders on 27th March 2020 regarding 17% of DA and DR to existing employees and retired pensioners with effect from July 2019.
Dearness Allowance Calculation:
The amount of increase in Dearness Allowance for the period from July 2019 to Feb 2020 shall be credited to the General Provident Fund Account of the respective employees in April 2020 and cash payment shall be admissible from March 2020 i.e. salary for the month of March 2020 payable on 1st April 2020.
DA Arrears Calculation:
The arrear of DA from 1st July 2019 to 29th February 2020 to the employees recruited to the Civil Services on or after 1st January 2004 and who are governed by the Contributory Pension Scheme, shall be paid in April 2020 and cash payment shall be admissible from 1st March 2020 i.e. salary for the month of March 2020 payable on 1st April 2020.
DR Arrears Calculation:
The payment of arrears of Dearness Relief from July 2019 to February 2020 shall be paid in April 2020 and cash payment shall be admissible from 1-3-2020 i.e. pension for the month of March 2020 payable on April 2020.What is the current DA rate in Rajasthan?
