Will Grade Pay Continue in the 7th Pay Commission Recommendations?
Questions are being raised if the Grade Pay Structure, introduced in the 6th Pay Commission, would continue in the 7th Pay Commission too. Are all the Federations united in their demand for the removal of the Grade Pay Structure?
Unconfirmed reports continue to claim that the 7th Pay Commission has assured that the Grade Pay Structure will be removed.

Following these rumours, we have tweaked our 7th CPC Calculator to accommodate these changes. All the unwanted features have been removed and the calculator is now much more user-friendly and relevant.
Even if Grade Pay Structure is removed, calculations have been made with the assistance of Multiplication Factor, based on the Basic Pay (Pay in Pay Band + Grade Pay) scale as of 01.01.2016.

PRADEEP KUMAR SAHOO says
Sir
Please introduce all the facilities like medical, loan, quarter and others for Contractual staff. Contractual Staff also citizen of India like Ministers, Officers who get all the facilities.
PRADEEP KUMAR SAHOO says
Sir
In my opinion Grade Pay will not remove because grade is a factor on which the gross salary is based. But DA will be reduced to 50%.
Retirement Contractual Posting should be stopped so that Unemployed Educated Youth will reduced (this should be an Act and every state will strictly follow).
Totally OLD PENSION System will be abolished irrespective Service(before 2005). The Pension system for Minister will be abolished, because they are citizen of INDIA as we are.
If someone is posted as contractual staff, he/she must complete his/her age 60 years in service.
AMANDEEP SINGH KAHLON says
Sir in my views grade is not to be removed.because grade is a factor on which the gross salary is based.but DA should be reduced by 50%.and the special allowances like paramilitary allowance, RISK ALLOWANCE is to be in same ratio for all ranks.because the risk for all lifes is equal.though the constable has much more risk in his duty than a officer.A soldier is unable to fulfill all his family requirements because of lesser salary amount. So sir it’s my request to all of ur board members that make the salary factors keeping in view of a soldier not an officer.soldiers sacrifice much more than an officer.

I feel grade pay should be continued with reasonable hike.
I also feel that MSP should be equal for all ranks because life risk is equal for all ranks at all the places and every environment.

IN VIII CPC GRADE PAY SYSTEM SHOULD BE REMOVED AND WHILE GRANTING MACP TO EMPOLYEES IT SHOULD BE GIVEN ON PROMOTIONAL HEIRACHY . NOT AS PER GRADE PAY HEIRACHY IF GRADE PAY SYSTEM REMAINS. DUE TO GRADE PAY HEIRARCY EMPLOYEES DID NOT GOT ANY BEFEFITS. AND MACPS SHOULD BE IN 4 TO 5 STEPS
Sk yadav says
The warrant sys to be replaced with smart card sys for rail to save time and paper work.
MSP should be equal for all ranks.
Amit Singh says
msp for defence personnel should be same and please have a look at the status of sergeant of air force.they need to be placed in pay band 2 with immediate effect as they hardly take the rank of jwo an d therefore prefer to retire at 20 creating a sudden blank which is impossible to fill.please look after this as it is not only for the betterment of individual but air force as a whole

GANESH Jadhav says
Warrant system for Armed forces personnel required to be removed and replaced with Smart card , in smart card auth of free and concession for travelling be easily worked out on the basis of his service particulars bcoz nowadays reservations are made before 4 months prior to their journeys and in Army environment it’s not possible to plan 4 months before and sometimes indl taking tatkal reservations on his own money neither it be claimed nor credited to his account being huge numbers
GANESH Jadhav says
I think MSP should be equal to all ranks b coz everyone is serving in same organisation and same environment
pranay says
Thank you
OP GUPTA says
yes, with lower G.Pay entitlement to travel by air and with private airlines should be allowed to avail LTC
SHEKAR says
In the interest of public funds usage, it is very much suggested to remove the air travel entitlements to many below 7600 grade pay. It is also suggested allow private airlines as it is cheaper and better in saving time convenient to avoid official wastage
