(b) It is essential for candidates to recognize that any errors, omissions, or inconsistencies in entering details on the OMR answer sheet, particularly regarding the Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, could lead to the disqualification of the answer sheet.
UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024: Mobile Phones Banned
Notice for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024: Strict Ban on Electronic Devices: Participants are explicitly forbidden from using mobile phones (even if turned off), pagers, or any electronic gadgets, programmable devices, or storage items like pen drives and smartwatches. Additionally, cameras, Bluetooth gadgets, or any devices that could serve as communication tools are not allowed during the examination.

UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024 Eligibility
To be eligible for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024, applicants must fulfill specific criteria as detailed below:
Citizenship: Only individuals who are citizens of India may be appointed or employed under these regulations, unless a written authorization is obtained from the Central Government. Additionally, candidates from Nepal or Bhutan may also be eligible for appointment, enlistment, or employment under these rules.
Gender: The role of Assistant Commandant is open to both male and female applicants.
Age Criteria:
Candidates should be a minimum of 20 years old and no older than 25 years by August 1, 2024. This means they should have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2004.
The upper age limit may be relaxed as follows:
- Up to five years for those belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes.
- Up to three years for candidates from Other Backward Classes who qualify for reservations.
- Up to five years for Civilian Central Government Servants, adhering to current government guidelines. Ex-Servicemen are also eligible for this relaxation. However, the total age relaxation due to governmental service cannot exceed five years.
