Sub: Revision of Pension/Family Pension of pre-2016-to those worked in Railway Degree College, Lallaguda, Secunderabad (S.C. Railway) -reg.

(iii) NFIR’s letter No. 11/35/2019 dated 13/03/2020.

NFIR invites kind attention of Railway Board to Federation’s letter dated 13/03/2020 relating to revision of pension/family pension of pre-2016 pensioners who were faculty members of Railway Degree College, Secunderabad, urging quick action for revision of pension. It is unfortunate that the Federation has not been apprised of action taken with regard to pension revision.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Higher Education) has since sent communication to the Secretary,University Grants Commission vide No. 1-1/2017-U-II dated 09th June, 2020, revising the pension of retired faculty and other staff in Central Universities and Colleges and issuing Concordance Tables (Table 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6). A copy of the said communication together with copies of Concordance Tables is enclosed to enable to Railway Board to take quick action for issuing instructions to General Manager, South Central Railway to revise the pension as per the Concordance Tables in the case of faculty and other staff of Railway Degree College, Secunderabad. Action taken on the subject matter may be apprised to the Federation.
