As per the media news, the employees and officers decided to donate one day’s salary every month till March 2021 to PM CARES Fund.
A circular has been published by the Department of Revenue (Ministry of Finance) on 17th April 2020 (the same has been uploaded on the various media websites) regarding the decision of the staff and officers of the Revenue Department on contribution.
The circular said that it has been decided to appeal all officers and staff of Department of Revenue to contribute their one day’s salary every month till march 2021 to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund to aid the Government’s efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Any officer or staff having an objection to it may intimate Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Department of Revenue in writing mentioning his/her employee code latest by 20.4.2020.
The donation option purely depends upon the individual.
