Today Union Cabinet meet at New Delhi – Possible to announce on 5% DA hike from July 2019
Today more than 30 lakh Central Government employees and Pensioners, Family Pensioners are expecting the cheer announcement on 5% Dearness Allowance hike from July 2019.
Source said, the agenda point of Dearness allowance is included in the above said meeting and may declare today after approval of Union Cabinet.
Why delay on 5% DA announcement?
Sources said, due to the announcement of Two Day Bank Strike from 26th to 27th September 2019, payment for the month of September for Central Government employees was credited before 26.9.2019. Also the pension for all pensioners including family pensioners was credited before 26th September 2019 respective accounts without adding 5% additional DA and DR.
DA Arrears
5% DA Arrears for three months from July to September 2019.
DA from January 2020
The 5% additional Dearness allowance for the period of 6 months from July to December 2019. After that the next episode of ‘DA from January 2020’ will start!
