The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced the commencement of the admission process for over 1,200 schools across India for the 2023-2024 academic year. With high-quality education and the lowest fee structure in the nation, the Indian government maintains these schools. Annually, more than seventy thousand students gain admittance to class 1 of the Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. The entire class 1 admission process will be conducted through a one-stop system. Prior to registering your child on the KVS admission portal, kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in, it is important to have all documents stored in both JPG and PDF formats, as well as a scanned copy of a passport-sized photo uploaded in JPG format. Additionally, you must collect the name, address, code number, and affiliation number of the KV school.

Before filling out the application, ensure that you have all the required information pertaining to your child such as their first, middle, and last name (as listed on the birth certificate), date of birth, email address, and mobile number. Please take care when entering the date of birth as it cannot be changed after submission.

Step 2: Input the Unique Login Code, mobile number, and date of birth.
Step 3: Press the Login button.

To register for Class 1 admission in KVS admission portal, the admission application form is divided into five sections, each accessible under a different tab. These tab headings are “Basic Information”, “Parents Details”, “Choice of Schools”, “Upload Documents”, and “Declaration”.

In the Basic Information tab, the following steps must be completed: entering the child’s first, middle, and last name; entering the child’s date of birth; selecting the child’s gender; choosing the Single Girl Child Category if applicable; selecting the family income group; indicating the caste category; and specifying the blood group.

Important Dates for KVS 2023 Admission

We kindly request that the following lists be displayed on the website of the Kendriya Vidyalayas and the school’s notice board: a list of registered children, list of eligible children, a category-wise list of provisionally selected children, and a waiting list. If any of the dates for displaying these lists is a public holiday, the next working day will be treated as the opening/closing date.
