The official announcement of the Kendriya Vidyalaya school admission schedule dates for the academic year 2020-21 may be delayed further due to Coronavirus Disease.
The Govt of India taking successive action against Coronavirus in the last two weeks. All Kendriya Vidyalayas closed till 31 March 2020 and 50% of the Central Government employees are allowed to work from home. In this context, the admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya schools for the current academic session of 2020-21 may also be postponed for a further week.
Already CBSE has directed all educational institutions to rescheduled all ongoing examinations and evaluation work after 31 March 2020.
The MoHFW order said that while maintenance of academic calendars and exam schedule is important, equally important is the safety and security of the students who are appearing in various examinations, as also that of their teachers and parents.
