Kendriya Vidyalaya Fee Structure 2024-25

The fee structure for Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2024-25 is as follows:

  • Admission Fee: Rs. 25
  • Re-Admission Fee: Rs. 100
  • Tuition Fee in Kendriya Vidyalaya:
  • Class IX & X (Boys): Rs. 200
  • Class XI & XII Commerce & Humanities (Boys): Rs. 300
  • Class XI & XII Science (Boys): Rs. 400
  • Computer Fund in Kendriya Vidyalaya:
  • For classes III onwards where Computer Education is provided: Rs. 100
  • Computer Science Fee (for elective subjects) per stage: Rs. 150
  • Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (Classes I – XII): Rs. 500

KVS Fee for Balvatiaka 1, 2, 3 and Class 1

The fee structure from Balvatika to Class 12 students at KV School is as follows:

  • Primary students: Admission Fee of 25, no Tuition Fee, and Yearly Development Charges of 500.
  • Middle students: Admission Fee of 25, no Tuition Fee, and Yearly Development Charges of 600.
  • Secondary students: Admission Fee of 25, Tuition Fee of 200, and Yearly Development Charges of 600.
  • Senior Secondary students: Admission Fee of 25, Tuition Fee of 400, and Yearly Development Charges of 600.

KVS Fee Exemption Categories

The fee arrangement at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) includes several waivers for different student groups. For girls in Classes 1 through 12, tuition fees are waived, although they are responsible for paying computer fees and VVN contributions. Similarly, SC/ST students enjoy tuition fee exemptions but must cover their computer fees and VVN Nidhi. The children of KVS staff from Class 1 to 12 are also free from tuition fees; however, they still need to pay for computer fees and VVN Nidhi. Additionally, children of Army and paramilitary members do not pay tuition or VVN Nidhi but are required to pay computer fees. There are also exemptions for the offspring of Armed Forces and Para Military Forces personnel who have been killed, gone missing, or have been permanently disabled during counter-insurgency missions. Other categories eligible for fee waivers include children from low-income families, those with disabilities, and specific government workers. Schools affiliated with the project sector of KV have the discretion to establish their own fee frameworks.

KVS Fee Quarterly Collection System
