During the last 2 – 3 months both print and electronic media are continuously reporting that increase in 7th CPC Minimum Pay and Fitment Factor is under serious consideration of the Govt. and National Anomaly Committee will give its recommendation to Govt. and orders for increased Minimum Pay and Fitment Formula will be given effect from April 2018.

We are still to see the teeth of the employees fedrations. They are being made to the dance of the Govt. Tune. Only 14%increase after 10 years, allowances not paid from due date and now backing out on promise to increase minimum pay and fitment formula. After Gujrat elections we will again be cheated and the fedrations will only watch.

For pensioners the 40% commutation is removed in the calculation what is pension hike is coming nothing beneficial compare to regular employees who are all getting more than the pensioners is HRA, TA., etc., So the 40% commutation has to be removed so that we can get something is better than nothing.
