CGHS Beneficiaries Aged 80 and above to get easy access to Doctors

The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) has established guidelines that cater to the special needs of its beneficiaries who are aged 80 years and above. These guidelines offer provisions that address the unique health concerns and requirements of this age group, including regular health check-ups, access to specialized medical care, and priority in hospital admissions. Additionally, CGHS beneficiaries aged 80 years and above can avail themselves of various health and wellness services, such as yoga and physiotherapy, to help maintain their physical and mental well-being. These guidelines aim to ensure that elderly CGHS beneficiaries receive the best possible care and support as they age gracefully.
