Election Holiday 2019: Grant of paid holiday to the employees working in Central and State Government offices on the day of poll 23.9.2019 (Monday).
As per the notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on 12th September 2019, bye-election to the following State Legislative Assemblies in the States of Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh will be held on 23rd September 2019 (Monday).

The order further said the Central Government Offices, including the industrial establishments, may be closed on the day of poll and grant of paid holiday followed the State Government Offices.
