The eligibility criteria for purchasing cars, bikes, electronic items, and other AFD-1 products through the CSD AFD online portal have been recently updated by the CSD AFD Team. These criteria now apply to personnel of the Armed Forces, Ex-Servicemen, and Civilian employees and officers. CSD AFD Eligibility Criteria for Two Wheelers 2024
Eligible individuals who possess a smart card have the opportunity to acquire a bike, scooter, EV scooter, or EV bike (specifically two-wheelers) via the CSD AFD online portal. It is crucial to acknowledge that the purchase of only one bike is permitted at a given time, and this transaction can be completed once every four years, commencing from the date of the previous purchase.
CSD AFD Eligibility Criteria for AC 2024
Individuals who are in possession of a smart card have the opportunity to acquire an Air Conditioner (AC) through the online platform of CSD AFD. It is important to note that only one AC can be purchased at a time, and there is a restriction that allows a maximum of four ACs to be obtained within a four-year period.
CSD AFD Eligibility Criteria for TV 2024
The purchase of a Television Set (TV) through the CSD AFD online portal is exclusive to individuals with a smart card. It is important to note that only one TV can be acquired at a time, and this purchase can be made once within a four-year block period. Additionally, customers have the opportunity to purchase up to four air conditioners.
Eligibility Criteria for Purchasing in CSD Canteen
The CSD Canteen extends its purchasing privileges to the following categories of individuals:
1. Active and retired Armed Forces Personnel whose salary falls within the range of pay levels 1 to 18.
2. Active and retired Defence Civilian employees whose salary falls within the range of pay levels 1 to 18.
3. Family pensioners of Defence Civilians whose salary falls within the range of pay levels 1 to 18.
Moreover, for the purchase of a two-wheeler, there is a requirement that a minimum of four years must have elapsed since the last purchase of the same item. It is important to note that only one type of AFD-1 item can be purchased within the aforementioned time gap.
