📜 Eligibility Criteria for CEA

Available to all Central Government employees (civilian & defence).

Applies from Nursery to Class 12 only.
Reimbursement allowed even if the child fails in a particular year.

👶 How Many Children Are Eligible?

CEA is admissible for only two children.
Exception: First Birth Twins

If the first childbirth results in twins, both are eligible and the second child is ALSO eligible, making it possible to claim CEA for three children in this exceptional case.

CEA can be claimed only by one parent.
