The Staff Side of the National Council (JCM), under the leadership of its General Secretary Shiva Gopal Mishra, has initiated preparations for submission of its official Memorandum to the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

In a letter addressed to all Constituent Organizations and Staff Side Members of the National Council (JCM), Shri Mishra requested valuable inputs and suggestions on key service matters affecting Central Government employees and pensioners.

Background: Draft Terms of Reference Already Submitted

The Staff Side of National Council (JCM) has already submitted the Draft Terms of Reference (ToR) of the 8th CPC to the Government based on inputs received from various staff organizations.

A meeting was also held under the Chairmanship of the Secretary (Personnel), Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T), where the Staff Side presented its views and demands for inclusion in the Terms of Reference.

Important: The Staff Side will submit a Common Memorandum covering issues affecting all Central Government employees and pensioners, while individual Federations and Associations will submit separate memorandums for department-specific issues.

All Constituent Organizations have been requested to submit their inputs with supporting documents, court judgments, illustrations, and calculations.
