Sub: Issue of Pension Slip to Defence Pensioners/family pensioners.
Attention is drawn to RBI letter No. DGBA.GAD. N o. H-10975/45.05.031/2006-07 dated January 9, 2007 instructing all the agencies banks to issue pension slip to all the Armed Forces Personnel/Defence Civilian Pensioners including family pensioners at the commencement of pension and thereafter whenever there is a change in the quantum of pension. RBI’s above instruction was also forwarded by this office to all banks vide this office circular N o. 128 dt. 13.07.2007.
Besides above, whenever any circular was issued by this office after 6th CPC implementation, Pension Disbursing Agencies were requested to send intimation regarding disbursement of revised pension to this office in the format prescribed with the circular concerned. Pension Disbursing Agencies were simultaneously requested to provide invariably a copy of the said format to the pensioner concerned. A brief details of circulars issued and format prescribed for intimation of revision to be carried out by PDA to this office as well as pensioners is given below.

However, it has been brought to the notice of this office that Pension Disbursing Agencies are not providing the details of revised pension/family pension to the pensioners/family pensioners. Thereby due to lack of knowledge pensioners are not sure about correctness of the amount of the arrears being paid to them and most of them have a sense of suspicion against the revision.
To overcome above suspicion, it is requested that an explanatory sheet as per the enclosed format may be provided to all defence pensioners/family pensioners invariably.

After the death of Pensioners family Pension will be given to spouse/eligible dependents.
I am retired on 31 May 2008 as MWO of airforce in Gp X.What will be my latest pension
All pensioners should get their Pension slips giving all break down details every month on their registered email address automatically from the bankers.
as per circular 547 my pension revised ₹11970 /_wef 1.7.2009, now as per c_549 arears wef 1.1.2006to 30

Sir, I served for the Indian Army for 18 years and 10 months & retired as Nb/Sub Group ‘A’ on 01.11.2005 from Corps Of Signals I want a clarification on recently paid Pension since Dec 2016 i got pension till Nov 2016 21588/- but in month Dec 2016 & Jan 2017 i got only 13162/- i am not understanding why my pension is reduced. so many time i asked my branch for the same but I did not get any fruitful results on this issue from my pension disbursing Bank. Kindly clarify the eligibility of the same.

Sir, I served for the Indian Army for 32 years and 28 days & retired as Sub Maj Group ‘B’ on 31.03.1999 from MEG.I want a clarification on recently paid arrears to other ranks as Vth or VIth pay commission arrears, why it is not admissible in my case I did not get any fruitful results on this issue from my pension disbursing Bank. Kindly clarify the eligibility of the same.

No pension slip is provided by PDA, Still it’s a dream.
I am drawing defence pension from State Bank of Travancore, Thiruvilwamala, Dist: Trichur, Kerala – 680587 since May 1992, and I am employed in New Delhi from 1992. The concerned Bank (PDA) has not supplied me the details of pay revision, consequent upon the implementation of 6th Pay Commission, and subsequently after the OROP implementation.
This ignorance by the Bank authorities towards Ex-servicement is not acceptable and amounts to non-adherence of orders issued by PCDA, Allahabad.
Kindly instruct the bank to issue the details of revised pension, break-up etc. to the ex-servicemen.
