I retired from post office and getting fixed medical allowance Rs.1000/ month, am I authorise to get CGHS card for getting in patient treatment, and can it be reimbursed. I have not given CGHS card. How it can be made, if CGHS card made than my fixed medical allowance for day today medical expenses Will stopped or it will be continued, please comment

FMA stopped than you can be issued CGHS card. at once and avail the in-patent treatment. If it is earlier in-patent treatment you have to get the certificate from AMA. If he gives certificate then only reimbarseble.

Fixed medical allowance for central govt. employee @2000/- per month is not only genuine but appropriate also ,since the employee retires more or less when he gives up his entire service for the nation and rest of life with various ailments . Therefore, the fixed medical allowance should be treated as fixed medical compensation and amount should not be less than Rs.2000/- please.

Rs. 2000/_ as fixed medical allowance is very genuine. My wife is a heart patient and going under the treatment of Hero Heart DMC. I am spending Rs. 2200/_ per month on her. Govt. should reconsider to enhance ATLEAST Rd. 2000/_ per month for day to day requirement of medicines.

Telecom pensioners are getting only Rs500/- pm as fixed medical allowance (FMA).
The demand was Rs.2000/-pm . I am astonished to read that the commission has not accepted this genuine demand of pensioners. Think of costs of medicines. Rs.500/ -is one time fee of the doctor. Rs2000/-pm is the very much genuine demand, it should be reconsidered. Satpal singh JTO Retd. Thanks

Sir thanks for your prompt reply. My basic pay as on 31-12-2015 was 24400 in pay band 15600-39100 with Grade pay 5400. Promotion date Basic pay remains the same 24400 but Grade pay changed to 6600 in the same pay band 15600-39100. As per your advice if I opt for 6th CPC Grade Pay change from the promotion date , in which matrix level will I be fixed and what will be the amount. Kindly clarify.

Sir thanks for your reply. I still have certain doubts to be clarified. I got my selection scale due to MACP. Will I get 3 percent increament. You mentioned matrix level 9 and next matrix level as 10. But my organisation KVS has taken matrix level 10 and 11 and fixed me from 77700 to 78 500. Whereas as per your reply it comes to 77900 to 80000..I come in pay band 15600-39100 . Please clarify.

Your figures are not tallying so you give your basic pay as on 31-12-2015. More over since you have to give the option you required 6th CPc grade pay change from the promotion date or you require 7th CPC pay ? Best option is GRADE PAY change, because you retired on 31-5-2016. Since as per the 7th CPC Matrix change got no promotion benefit because your increment will not given on 1-7-2016.

I retired in May 2016 from KV.. I was in senior scale till 09-02-2016 with Basic+Grade pay ( 24400+5400). I got my selection scale from 10-02-2016 with Basic+Grade pay (24400+6600).. How will I be fixed in 7th CPC. I am a CPF holder. . please let me know which will be the most beneficial fixation for me and how it is done..

Your pay will be fixed as on 31-12-2015 multiple by 2.57 amount of total fixed nearest in Matrix Level 9 upto 9-2-16 from 10-2-16 onwards next nearest amount in Matrix Level 10. In that amount 50% as Pension from 6/16 onwards.
