In honor of the highly anticipated Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya, an auspicious and sacred event that will take place on the 22nd of January 2024, a special arrangement has been made. This arrangement involves a half-day closure (until 2:30 P.M.) of all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments across the entire country. This decision has been made to allow employees the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the joyous and momentous celebrations that will be taking place on this significant day. By granting this half-day leave, it is hoped that individuals will be able to actively participate in the festivities and pay homage to the revered Ram Lalla.

Subject: Half-day closing (till 2.30 P.M.) of Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments on 22 January 2024 – reg.
The Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22nd January 2024 across India. To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22nd January, 2024.
2. All Ministries/Departments of Government of India may bring the above decision to the notice of all concerned.
