The detailed calculations are very useful to know the method of arriving pension amount for defence personnel.

You got only disability pension because you invalided out from service complete of 9 years of sert only if you invalid out from service 10 or more years of service then you both services elements and disability pension/elements OK
you are supposed to get100 % disability pension.
disp has two parts 1, service element and 2 ,disability element .

I served in IAF for 26 yrs and retired as MACP sgt with 50 percentage disability attributable/aggravated due to service. Retired on 31 oct 2017. My basic pay was 47900/-. What will be my disability pension.

1, 30% of your last pay as per 7cpc is 100% disp element
2, 50% of pay as per 7cpc is your pension that is service element .
3, add (1+2 ) =disp pension
4, If your disp element in ppo shown 50 % disablity then you are to get
75% disp element.

may know when you have discharged from service and what is your original disability percentage? if you have @50% disablity percentage with attributable to military service, you can also get @75% disablity as per latest Hon’ble Supreme Judgment.

if you are getting @20% disability pension than you can also claim for broad banding from @20% to 50%. and if you are not getting than you can file a case for granting disability pension.

Sir my father who serve in army signal corp for about 12 year n dead 10 augest 1983 during on service period and that time I was only 2.5 year old in their service record shows that his death is not attributed for army so my mother draw a ordinary family pension about 10745 something …What should I do for it ….

My father died on 15/02/2007,he was working as Master Craftsman Fitter General in Metal & Steel Factory Ichapur that time and his age was 54 when he died. Now I wants to know that what will be the date of his retirement, and what will be the amount of pension my mother will get then,as at the time of my father s death my mother used to get Rs 3975/- which increased now as Rs20,000/-. Now after 7 th CPC decision of revision of pension of pre 2016 pensioners will my mother get any benefit??
My father expired on 04/09/2017 he was retried from Army(corps of signals) in 1972 my mother name not mention on PPO so family pension not yet started.

if yes, than you can ask for @50% as per latest ruling regrading disability pension.

Sir, I invalided medical board out of service from Army medical corps (Indian Army) on 28 July 2017. As per PPO my disability pension was 40% which was r/o by 50% for whole life. Now I wish to know my at present basic disability pension. My diagnosis was Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD) which is a Psychiatric disease. Please help me.

Why the pension calculators are ignoring Disability element option while revising the Calci software ?
Dear Sir.
I retired from corps of signals after completion of 24 years colour service on 01 SEP ,2004. I was permanent category due to hypertension as per board give me 23 % but pcda rejected my disability pension and instructions given you can appeal within 6 month.But no appeal done by me.Now please guide me can I do case about my disability pension. Kindly guide me.
